Mailboxes

Moss growing on and under mailboxes needs to be cleaned off.

Signs, posters and tape residue are unsightly and do not belong on mail boxes. Please remove when found.

Native Growth Protection Area (NGPA)

Scotch Broom is invasive and must be removed. It is most easily identified annually after blooming has begun and before seeds form.

Himalayan Blackberry (Rubus discolor) is invasive and needs to be removed. The stems are covered with heavy, broad-based prickles and the larger stems are distinctly five-angled. The leaves are clustered in fives and their undersides are white.

 Evergreen blackberry (Rubus laciniatus) is invasive and needs to be removed.

Native trailing blackberry (Rubus ursinus) should be left except where it runs across a trail or into your yard.

Trails need to be maintained. The original trails are the only authorized trails. Some of those trails need to be repaired. Trails periodically need wood chips.

Construction materials and dumped plant material need to be removed when found.

Plant materials from the NGPA found in your yard should not be thrown back into the NGPA. Please put them in your yard waste.

Open Space / Common Area

Litter - pick it up.

Sign posts - Staples and nails left in sign posts rust and are hand hazards for people and especially children. They need to be removed when found and posting discouraged.

Pond

Scotch Broom is removed annually after blooming has begun and before seeds form.

Trash thrown over the fence or through the drains collects in the pond and periodically needs to get picked up.

Gate post is broken and gate does not open clear of the ramp. The county will need this access when they do their one-time maintenance of the pond in spring or summer.

Fence post near gate is also broken.

Sport Court

Basketball hoop periodically needs a new net.

Tot Lot

Tract 989 - drainage issues. Borders timbers are rotten. Wood chips needed to be removed and replaced.
